Audit trail and receipts

The append-only record behind every decision.

Every operation in Cogna8 is written to an append-only trail. Nothing is deleted and nothing is overwritten, so any decision can be reconstructed later.

What is recorded

Trace bundles

Each event carries what happened, when, who or what triggered it, why (the causal chain), and links back to the evidence it came from.
